Terms and Conditions

Dear User, In order to acquire the services offered by this site, you must read and accept the terms and conditions that are written below. These are applicable for the exclusive use of the sites owned by Amco Educación, S.A.P.I. de C.V. (“Amco”) located at the address Av. Vallarta, número 6503 Interior B 23 y B 24, Ciudad Granja, C.P. 45010, Zapopan, Jalisco, México, as well as any controlling companies, affiliates, or subsidiaries in Mexico and any other countries. This includes our websites www.amco.me and/or www.amcoonline.net (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) and/or the Applications owned by Amco (hereinafter referred to as “Amco Apps”).

The use of the Website and/or the Amco Apps implies that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions of use stipulated in this document, and designates you as a User. The User must create an account using an e-mail address and a cell phone number because the User will receive a verification code via text message when registering that will be used as a password to log in to the account once it is created. This information is duly protected by the Privacy Notice, which must be read and accepted by the User.

Once the User has logged into the Amco Apps, the User can choose to change their password for their own access at any time. Amco is NOT responsible for the misuse of the username or password made by a third party not authorized by the User.

All purchases and transactions carried out through the Website and/or Amco Apps are subject to a confirmation and verification process, which may include verification and availability of the purchased product, validation of the payment method, validation of the invoice (if applicable), and compliance with the conditions required by the chosen means of payment. In some cases, verification through e-mail or through a verification code from the bank used for payment may be required. The prices of the services offered both on the Website and in the Amco Apps may vary depending on the School, Grade Level, Student, or Date on which the Program payment is to be made, among others.

Amco reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions unilaterally and without prior notice. Likewise, it reserves the right to modify, terminate, and/or suspend the content and design of its Website and Amco Apps; as well as the services offered therein, for which reason Amco will not be held responsible to the User for said modifications, terminations, and/or suspensions.

The User agrees to make use of the Website and/or Amco Apps in accordance with and subject to the purposes for which it was created; therefore, it is strictly prohibited to carry out any act for illegal purposes, or any act that violates the interest of Amco or any third party.

The User declares that they are aware that all services, materials, information, content, catalogs, files, documents, databases, brands, official communications, commercial names, designs, images, and other materials that are understood to be intellectual property belong exclusively to Amco, and are subject to the terms and conditions contained in this document; therefore, Amco does not expressly or implicitly grant any right over the aforementioned.

Failure to comply with any of the conditions indicated in the previous paragraph implies the immediate termination of using the Website and/or Amco Apps, and the User will have the obligation to destroy any material that has been downloaded or printed from the Website and/or Amco Apps.

In addition to those indicated in this document, the following points will be Prohibited for the User.

  • Use the Website and/or Amco Apps for purposes contrary to morality, good customs, public order, and the laws and/or regulations that are applicable to them.
  • Affect the content, copy, modify, distribute, transmit, reproduce, publish, assign, and/or dispose of the information published on the Website and the Amco Apps.
  • Affect or misuse its brands, communications, trade names, designs, images, labels, logos, and any other intellectual and/or industrial property rights belonging to Amco.
  • Carry out any action that damages or in any other way impairs the normal functioning of the Website and/or the Amco Apps.
  • Perform any act that damages or in any other way harms the interests of Amco.
  • Use the content of the Website and/or the Amco Apps for commercial and/or private purposes.
  • Create works, services, or products derived from or based on those that appear on the Website or in the Amco Apps.

All materials, information, and/or services to which the User has access through this Website and/or the Amco Apps are the property of Amco and they are protected by national and international laws and treaties regarding Copyright, Intellectual Property, and Industrial Property. Any unauthorized use of these materials or services constitutes a violation of such laws.

Amco does not guarantee that the services it provides will meet the expectations of each User, nor that the service will be uninterrupted and/or arrive at a certain level of speed without errors. That being said, it will be the User’s responsibility to have the necessary equipment to establish the connection needed to access the Website and/or the Amco Apps, as well as the costs that these generate for use and download through their Internet provider.

Refund Policy

Once a payment has been made, and in the event of a Refund Request, the User must comply with the following Policies and Requirements for Amco to process a refund.

1. Applicant.- Only the account holder may request the refund, whether they are a person or a legal entity that has made the corresponding payment.

2. Refund Causes.- In order to generate a Refund, Amco has classified 6 (six) different causes, which must be considered when making your request:

  1. Student withdrawal
  2. Amco school change
  3. Grade change
  4. Amco program change
  5. Duplicated payment
  6. Discount card not applied

2.1 Student withdrawal
When the Student, for any reason, leaves school, before or during the school year in which he/she was enrolled in an Amco program; the refunded amount will be in accordance with the agreement in Point 3, subject to Point 6.

2.2 Amco school change
When the student, for any reason, changes from a school with an Amco program to another school with an Amco program, before or during the school year; or due to a typo or error made when the student was registered, and this generates a balance in favor of the person who made the payment, the refunded amount will be in accordance with the agreement in Point 3.

2.3 Grade Change
When the student, for any reason, changes grade levels at the same school, before or during the school year; or due to a typo or error made when the student was registered, and this generates a balance in favor of the person who made the payment, the refunded amount will be in accordance with the agreement in Point 3.

2.4 Amco program change
When the Student, for any reason, changes from one Amco program to another Amco program, before or during the school year; or due to a typo or error made when the student was registered, and this generates a balance in favor of the person who made the payment, the refunded amount will be in accordance with the agreement in Point 3, subject to Point 6.

2.5 Duplicated payment
When a payment made in cash, by transfer, or by Debit/Credit Card is recorded more than once, in an error made by the banking system, by Amco’s Book Purchase Platform, or by the person making the payment, the refunded amount will be in accordance with the agreement in Point 3.

3. Refund Amount.- The amount that will be reimbursed will be determined by Amco depending on the cause, the program purchased, and the period of the school year in which it is requested.

4. Requirements. - The person who made the payment will request the Refund through Amco’s Solutions Manager, either by phone, Website, or through Amco Apps. Once the request has been agreed upon, the applicant must send the documentation indicated in Point 4.1 within a period of no more than 5 (five) calendar days.

NOTE: If the documentation is not sent, or if it is sent after 5 (five) calendar days, the refund amount may be modified, depending on the program and the date on which the process is resumed.

4.1 Documentation for Total or Partial Refunds:

  1. Reimbursement Request form provided by Amco, completed and signed by the applicant.*
  2. Current official identification showing general information and the signature of the applicant.*
  3. Bank account statement cover page where the refund will be made.*
  4. Online purchase acceptance form.**

5. Refund Payments.- As long as the applicant complies with the previously mentioned Policies and Requirements, the refund may be made, taking into account the following points:

  1. Refunds are made only by electronic transfer, in National Currency or the corresponding currency according to the request. For no reason will a refund be made in cash, check, money order, or similar.
  2. Refunds will be credited to the account that the applicant authorizes in the Refund Request Form, with the applicant being solely responsible for providing the correct information.
  3. If, before or during the refund process, Amco receives a clarification notice for an unrecognized or duplicate charge (COUNTER-CHARGE) from any financial institution related to the payment to be refunded, the refund process will be canceled. You must contact your financial institution to resolve the matter.
  4. The refund will appear in the bank account indicated by the applicant in the Refund Request Form within a period of 45 to 60 calendar days. The said period will begin once all the requirements have been met and all the documents have been fully and correctly received.

6. Refund Exceptions.- In the event that the cause of the refund is due to early termination by the School, the parties agree that Amco will have the right to withhold the refund and use it to make up for any penalty or outstanding payments required in accordance with the contract signed by the School.

7. Adherence to the Contract.- By paying for the services and invoking this Refund Policy, the person making the payment adheres to the contract that Amco has entered into with the School, accepting the Dispute Resolution Clause and acknowledging the validity of all its clauses.

Billing Policy

  1. To request an invoice corresponding to the payment, the User must have made the payment through the Website and/or Amco Apps, and the purchase must appear with a “Paid ”status in Amco’s payment system.
  2. It will be the User’s responsibility to ensure all information entered in the Request is correct because once the invoice is issued, it CANNOT be modified.
  3. The invoice request must be processed within the month in which the payment was made. Extemporaneous invoices will not be issued for any reason.
  4. The date on which the invoice was generated will, without exception, appear on the invoice, and this date must meet the requirement of being issued within the month in which the purchase was made.
  5. In the event that the purchase is made during the last days of the month, you will have a period of 3 calendar days of the following month to request your invoice.
  6. If the User makes purchases in different months, they must request an invoice for each individual payment.
  7. The information and amounts that appear on your invoice will correspond to your purchase and are not subject to change.
  8. The XML file will be automatically sent as a link to the e-mail address provided when generating the User. We suggest verifying this address as the XML file will not be recoverable.
