Método Fukuoka de municiones de semillas

Damos inicio a nuestra primera actividad de la iniciativa Amco Green Project 19-20 a la cual están invitados a participar todos los colegios del mundo. En esta ocasión, iniciaremos con el método Fukuoka de municiones de semillas, que consiste en realizar bolitas de arcilla y tierra fértil con semillas en su interior para plantar árboles de una manera amigable con la naturaleza y además muy divertida.

Este método fue inventado por Masanobu Fukuoka, científico y agricultor de origen japonés, en la primera mitad del siglo XX. Busca imitar las condiciones en las que se producen las plantas de manera natural, sin agredir la tierra con arado ni fertilizantes, facilitando al mismo tiempo el trabajo de los agricultores. Su método ha servido para reforestar zonas afectadas por deforestaciones e incendios e incluso se han utilizado aviones para esparcir las municiones de semillas en zonas devastadas.

Fukuoka Method Seed Ammunition 

Let us get started with our first task of the Amco Green Project 2019 initiative. We invite all the schools from around the world to participate. On this occasion, we will apply the Fukuoka method of seed balls that consists of making clay balls and fertile soil with seeds inside of them, that allow us to plant trees and plants in a friendly and fun way.

This method was created by Masanobu Fukuoka, a Japanese scientist, and farmer, in the first half of the 20th century. His method seeks to imitate the conditions in which plants grow naturally, without damaging the land by plowing or fertilizing it, therefore facilitating the work of farmers. His method has served to help areas affected by deforestation and fires, and for severely devastated areas, even airplanes have been used to spread seed balls more effectively.
